National Front

In the 1970s and early 80s [the National Front (NF) was the hegemonic force on the British far-right](https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2017/aug/13/battle-of-lewisham-national-front-1977-far-right-london-police), but it has been irrelevant for decades. The NF has strong brand recognition in the wider public but has failed to translate this into successful organising. While the British National Party was at its peak in the noughties, the NF continued organising street protests. The NF has gone through several splits and now struggles to mobilise more than dozens for its annual Remembrance Sunday parades, these used to draw thousands.
