Generation of Renovation

Generation of Renovation is Croatian version o alt-right movement. It was founded in February 2017. with obvious inspiration in the European Identity Movement. Party claimed to have around two hundred members. While it had struggled to build presence in the streets, it quickly gaint notoriety for its promotion of hate speech and xenophobia online. The co-oped the American alt-right’s Pepe the Frog. Frano Čirko, party leader has long history of neo-fascist activism, he was photographed performing Nazi salutes and he is former member of hardline Croatian Pure Party of Rights. They worked to build ties with several far-right groups across Europe.

In November 2017., a day after Bosinan Croat general Slobodan Praljak drank cyanide poison following his conviction for war crimes, GoR hel a ceremony and ereceted an altar for the late war criminal on main square in Zagreb.

For years, they have been organizing an event called “Rightists in the Pub”, which, in addition to regular gatherings in Zagreb, is occasionally held in other cities. One of the topics was “fight against LGBT + P (pedophile) propaganda”. Members of Parliament Hrvoje Zekanović, Marko Milanović Litre and Marijan Pavliček were in the front rows at this event.

On October 2021. Generation of Renewal merged with the Croatian Sovereignists.
