Thaïs d’Escufon, or Anne-Thaïs du Tertre d’Escœuffant under her real name, succeeded to Anaïs Lignier as the spokesperson of Génération Identitaire in 2018 (dissolved in 2021). She was convicted in June 2021 for public provocation to racial hatred, a decision she appealed. She remains a central figure on social media today.

From September 2020 to January 2021, she was also working as community manager for Sébastien Chenu, an executive and spokesperson of Rassemblement National (RN).
