Loïk Le Priol

Loïk Le Priol is a far-right activist, formerly serving in the French army and former member of the Groupe Union Défense (GUD), self-dissolved in 2017. In 2015, he participated to the extremely violent joint assault of a former GUD leader, for which he is still awaiting a trial. Le Priol is also the founder of clothing brand “Baptou solide” proudly worn by far-right personalities in the past (Baptou comes from “toubab”, a name given to white settlers by the colonised african populations – the meaning is therefore the pride to be white). Le Priol made the news on March 19 2022 as he is suspected to have shot and murdered the Argentinian rugby player Federico Martín Aramburú in an open street in Paris. He was arrested a few days later when he tried to cross the Hungarian-Ukrainian border, and claimed he was on his way to Ukraine to fight.
