Since 2019 member of the European Parliament for the AfD in Germany.
He left the AfD in May 2021 and joined the AfD-offsplit „Liberal-Konservative Reformer“ (LKR).
In June 2021 he joined the Faction of the „European Conservatives and Reformists“.

Lars Patrick Berg, born 1966, from Heidelberg is son of an English woman and a German man. So he speaks fluently English.

Stephen Bryan Atkinson, a former employee of the UKIP-MEP James Carver, worked for him.

In October, November 2017 he visited „private“ Berg Karabach and met the „Civil Contract Party“.

He is member of two catholic student fraternities.
