Kristofer Kearney, known as Charlie Big Potatoes, is a leading figure in the new fascist party Patriotic Alternative (PA). Kearney is currently on remand facing two terrorism charges. Kearney is a former member of the now banned neo-Nazi terrorist group National Action.

Kearney was extradited from Spain to the UK in August 2022. Kearney is being held on remand, facing two charges of disseminating a terrorist publiction and is set to face trial in summer 2023. Kearney, aged 37, had been based in Alicante but was arrested by Spanish police at the request of British counter-terrorism police.

Before his arrest, Kearney was the [leader of PA’s fitness clubs initiative](https://archive.ph/wip/AzOaB), which have been described by *The Times* as [“the far-right fight clubs where men train to make Britain white”](https://archive.ph/Dgip0).

Kearney appears to have been drawn to PA while a host for the Patriotic Talk livestream, started by former PA regional organiser Chris Mitchell. When Mitchell left PA, Kearney split from him and was briefly a host on The Absolute State of Britain podcast before its demise. More recently Kearney was a co-host on the PA Talk YouTube livestream.

Kearney became one of PA’s most vocal supporters on the encrypted messaging app Telegram and became the fascist party’s fitness guru. Spanish ex-pat newspaper *The Olive Press* [reported that Kearney was linked to the MTK Global boxing gyms](https://www.theolivepress.es/spain-news/2022/09/11/facing-justice-ultra-right-brit-extremist-kris-kearns-loses-extradition-battle-in-spains-national-court/) and had visited Dubai where MTK had a gym.
