Erik Tegnér is started his political involvement as a member of the Front National (FN), which he left for the right-wing party Les Républicains before being excluded from the party in 2019 because of his closeness with Marion Maréchal and more generally supporting a dialogue with the far-right. He launched then “Racines d’Avenir”, advertised as a movement for the conservative, patriotic and entrepreneur youth. His movement supports the union of the rights, and co-organises a dedicated event “Convention de la Droite” in 2018. In 2021, he launches the conservative media Livre Noir.
