Alexey Levkin in 2003 created the NSBM band M8L8TH or M8l8th (pronounced as “Mo-lot-kh”). Heavily influenced by Heavy Metal and RAC, the band describes their music as “Militant Black Metal. In 2006 Levkin was arrested for double murder, but an expert examination declared him insane and the court sent him to compulsory treatment. Upon his release, Lyovkin and Ivan Mikheev created WotanJugend to promote esoteric Hitlerism. In 2015, Lyovkin moved to Ukraine, where he joined Azov. In May 2019, the VotanJugend held a private event in Kiev called “Führer Night,” where an altar with a portrait of Hitler was set up. In Russia, he was arrested in absentia for his participation in the extremist community WotanJugend.
