IFP is a liberal-conservative training institute founded in 2004 by Jean Martinez, Thomas Millon and Alexandre Pesey (current director). The institute’s aim is to foster political engagement as early as for high-school pupils, around the opposition to the ideologies of progress and multiculturalism while defending the national cultural heritage and “freedom”. Advertised as a right-wing institute, proponent of a wide right-wing union, it is in fact very close to the far right, including its catholic-fundamentalist trend, as shown by the list of speakers.
The institute also heads three different branches: a journalist school, a political engagement school and an entrepreneurship one.
