Neo-Nazi memorial march

Each year, neo-Nazi and other fascist groups hold a gathering in memory of two Golden Dawn members (Giorgos Foundoulis and Manos Kapelonis) that were killed on 1st November 2013, during a targeted shooting attack outside Golden Dawn’s offices in a suburb of Athens, **Neo Iraklio**. The attackers are unknown. A claim of responsibility for the attack, signed by the group “Fighting Popular Revolutionary Forces”, describes the killing as a “retaliation for the murder of Pavlos Fyssas and other crimes of Golden Dawn”.

For 2022, this memorial gathering was held in the 3rd of November. While it was not publicly announced beforehand, supporters of all three parties that resulted from the break-up of Golden Dawn were present, as well as the group “ProPatria” were present.

Also present this year were members of NPD/JN from Germany.
