Lorem Ipsum is simply dummy text of the printing and typesetting industry. Lorem Ipsum has been the industry’s standard dummy text ever since the 1500s, when an unknown printer took a galley of type and scrambled it to make a type specimen book. It has survived not only five centuries, but also the leap into electronic typesetting, remaining essentially unchanged. It was popularised in the 1960s with the release of Letraset sheets containing Lorem Ipsum passages, and more recently with desktop publishing software like Aldus PageMaker including versions of Lorem Ipsum.
The Alternative World Economic Forum Meeting in Prague
Over 40 of the best-known conspiracy theorists and nationalist ideologues in the German-speaking world met for several days to devise tactics and visions for a political shift to the right. The project’s name is AWEF—short for Alternative World Economic Forum—and its founding conference took place in Prague between December 17 and 22.
R.I.P. Pegida – 10 Years of PEGIDA
The final PEGIDA demonstration took place in Dresden, where it first emerged in October 2014. PEGIDA shaped public discourse in Germany, influenced the AfD, and inspired short-lived offshoots worldwide. What is the Christian Right?
While the Christian Right is a large cohort of voters that plays a major role in shaping politics in the USA and Brazil, it tends to be invisible in many countries in secular Europe. However, here, too, it is a factor that should not be underestimated and has its own international network. But what is the Christian Right, where does it cooperate with the secular Far Right, and how strong is it?
Elections in Austria: How dangerous is the FPÖ?
On September 29, Austria will hold its national elections, with the far-right Freedom Party of Austria (FPÖ) leading the polls with 30% support. The FPÖ is an openly far-right party—its lead candidate, Herbert Kickl, describes himself, like Adolf Hitler, as the “people’s chancellor.” How likely is an FPÖ victory, and what dangers could it pose for Austria?
Great Friends of the Croatian Far Right
After the Homeland Movement (DP) became part of the ruling coalition, it first attacked the independent media because of its allegedly “anti-Croatian agenda.” The same media exposed the DP leaders as those with questionable asset declarations and finances who cooperate with the right wing from neighboring countries, which has pretensions to Croatian territory.
Antifascist Front Suppress the French Far-Right
The New Popular Front (NPF) coalition has won the second round of French parliamentary elections. Marine Le Pen’s far-right National Rally (RN) came third but increased its presence in the National Assembly.
The Far-Right Maneuvers for Power in the EU Parliament
Following last month’s election, about 180 Members of the European Parliament, a quarter of the total 720 members, belong to far-right parties. Considering the immense political moves ahead of and after the elections, it seems almost impossible that the old grouping in the parliament will continue.
National Rally won the first round in France
The far-right in France is closer to power now than at any time since the Nazi occupation of the country during World War II.
The last straw – AfD’s departure from the Identity & Democracy Group
The sacking of Alternative für Deutschland (AfD) from the Identity & Democracy (ID) group in the European Parliament traces back to clashes between AfD and Rassemblement National (RN), resulting from non-matching strategies and conduct rather than ideological mismatches.
