Andrey Rodionov is the founder and head of the organisation Russian-Slavic Unification and Revival (RUSOV). This is a tiny Panslavist organisation that has extensive links with friendly nationalist organisations in Slavic countries. Rodionov is an ethnic Russian from Sevastopol, and his organisation supported radical Russian nationalism even before Crimea’s annexation. After the outbreak of war in Donbass, Rodionov went to the front, and after the Russian invasion of Ukraine he joined Sudoplatov’s battalion, where he also began actively recruiting fighters from friendly organisations, mainly Serbian nationalists.
