Anthony Burrows chaired the first meeting of Homeland on 20 April and seems likely to fill a senior role within the new party. Burrows, who uses the online pseudonym ‘Anglofolk’ and hails from a village close to Alfreton in Derbyshire, was PA’s East Midlands regional organiser. Burrows is the director of an engineering services company.

Burrows previously ran a Telegram channel with over 1,000 subscribers, which he used to give neo-Nazis practical tips on topics from shopping to cyber-security. The channel has promoted another which contains terrorist manifestos.

A significant part of Burrow’s far-right activism has been encouraging fascists to boycott the products and services of Jewish and ethnic minority-owned businesses, and to develop a parallel economy. Burrows created a number of social media accounts using the ‘Anglofolk’ pseudonym in October 2019. His posts venerated Adolf Hitler and Oswald Mosley, and frequently referenced anti-Semitic memes.

After Red Flare revealed his identity in August 2021, Burrows had his firearms licence revoked by Derbyshire Constabulary. The following year Burrows took it upon himself to personally organise PA’s national camp in Lathkill Dale so as to avoid PA activists being “stalked by reds with long range lenses”.
