Konstantinos Bogdanos started his career as a TV and radio host. Notorious for expressing provocative positions on various issues, including on-air insults against Magda Fyssas (mother of antifascist Pavlos Fyssas, murdered by a storm battalion of the neo-Nazi party Golden Dawn in 2013), he was included in the lists of New Democracy and was elected MP in 2019.

Bogdanos was expelled from ND in October 2021. He announced the formation of a new party (ESY) on the right of ND in April 2022.
