Ivan was publicly humiliated by his comrades-in-arms, like another well known russian nazi in Ukraine Zyxel. In the 00’s, he had close ties with the “Slavic Union” and organized branches of the nationalist Freedom Party. He constantly attended Russian Marches. In 2017, a criminal case was filed against him for organizing protest actions, after which he fled to Ukraine, where he received political asylum and then citizenship. In February 2018, he registered in Ukraine a public organization “Institute of National Politics,” which published a dossier on Botsman. It is believed that Beletsky’s jaw was broken for this. In 2021, a video of Beletsky being bullied was also published.
