Former high-ranking member of “Golden Dawn”, organizer and supervisor of the “storm battalions” of the party in Piraeus and neighboring areas (SW Attica). Formed his own party “ELASYN” after he was elected MEP with GD in 2019, in the face of the upcoming conviction. Found guilty of leading a criminal organization and sentenced to imprisonment, but he did not surrender, using his immunity as a europarliamentarian. Later the European Parliament withdrew his immunity and he was arrested and imprisoned. He maintains his seat in the EP.
