Since 2019 Member of the European Parliament for the AfD in Germany.

Guido Reil is from the town of Essen and he is a former Miner. He was a long time member of the Socialdemocratic Party of Germany before he changed to the AfD in July of 2016.
He is especially adressing workers as voters for the AfD.

In July 2017 it became known that Reil was donated by financers the PR-Agency Goal from Switzerland. The „Goal AG“ helped him with Posters during his election campaign.
